Cat Pet Enclosures

In what kind of situation would you need to build a cat enclosure? What is important to take into consideration is if your living space, habits, and family are compatible with having a cat free inside your house or if you will need to build a enclosure for it. People that prefer quieter atmospheres usually get along well with cats living inside their houses without the need for an enclosure. However there are always unforeseen things that can cause problems. For example you decided to get a puppy. It is very normal for cats to get annoyed and jealous of any new pets and maybe especially a new puppy. The thing is that puppies are not only very boisterous and lively but get a lot of attention and affection. To avoid your cat any problems it is best to build a pet enclosure either for the puppy or your cat. Make sure that if the enclosure is for your feline that it is in an area accessible only tcat houseo your cat and not to the dog. It is possible that an extremely resentful cat might even move himself out of the house for a while. As a precaution it is a good idea to cut the cat's claws to avoid any scratching of the puppy. Another problem that can arise is if you have very young children. Since cat's claws are sharp it is likely that at some point the child will be scratched especially if they do something that the cat doesn't like. If you have young children and an older cat then there usually isn't too many problems along this line as it will more readily put up with its fur being stroked the wrong way etc... Children are another good reason to build a cat pet enclosure. It is vital for your pets your children are taught to treat animals properly.
