Outdoor Cat Enclosure
Keeping your cats in an outdoor cat enclosure is a great idea especially if you want to keep your cats from climbing all over everything in your or your neighbors yard. Cats are inquisitive by nature and love to explore everything they can. They also can dig up gardens when trying to cover their stool and this can be especially troublesome if the garden is your next door neighbors prized tulip flower. We had a cat who would climb up to the roof of our which besides being dangerous left unsightly paw prints all up the side of the wall and roof. The only way we found to avoid this problem was to put our cat in an outdoor cat enclosure. We didn't want to put our cat inside as we are not there at the most of the day and keeping her inside all the time when she was used to running free just didn't seem fair to us. If you have a tom cat or queen that isn't "fixed" keeping them in a outdoor cat enclosure will also help to prevent many of the problems associated with your female feline going into heat. While female cats are generally more sociable and have a closer relationship with their owners it is also very important to remember that if you don't have them "fixed" then you are going to have to deal with the changes which occur when your feline goes into heat. She will attract males from all over the neighborhood and her personality will change. Moreover if she becomes pregnant you will need to give her special attention and care during gestation, delivery and lactation. You will then also have a litter of kittens to be responsible for. So the reasons for having a outdoor cat enclosure are many and varied.
