Dog Carrier Bag
Last night I was taking a look through the internet at some of the options available to a person looking to buy a dogbag. I was intrigued, amused and shocked by what I found. Intrigued because of the developments of the last couple of decades. Specifically in regards to the way people perceive their pets and the dignity assigned to them. Pets used to be something kept at home, and kept with a minimum of fuss. They were fed and loved but not necessarily pampered and spoiled. Monies that where spent on a pet weredesignated for and the occasional shot administered by the local vet. Amused by what I found to be a superfluous amount of accessories and a unbelievable variety of choices for something so simple as a dog bag. The wide array of styles, brands and prices of both the dog bags and the accompanying accessories must mean that there is an incredible demand in the market for these items. I never would have imagined that the market is so large or willing to spend so much. And shocked by the luxuriousness of some of these items and the lengths people are willing to go and the money that they are willing to part with to own a designer dog bag. I remember when your first car cost between $1,000 to 3,000 but now people are paying these sums of cash just to carry their around. I am waiting for the day when I read in the paper about how someone is mugged for their dog bag.
