Find your Dog a New Shelter

If nothing seems to work, maybe you should consider leaving your dog in the kitchen or in another room of the house where there is no rugs at least for sleeping. If they stay with the rest of the family in other zones of the house, as in their rooms or dining room, they are exposed to the acarus.

Goodbye to Feathers: Feather pillows, in difference with synthetic pillows, are an ideal place for acarus to procreate. Buy him a synthetic pillow and see if the itching ceases.

Don't Let Him Go Out Of the house: Dogs that are allergic to pollen suffer more in the morning hours than at noon hours, when the presence of pollen is greater. To avoid these allergies, don't let him go out at those hours and during seasons of spring and summer.

Trick: The best way to ease the itching of its feet is to pt some water in a bucket, add some fig salts and get your dog to put its legs (one by one) inside during 5 or 10 minutes. Don't let him drink that water; it has a slight laxative effect.

Use the First Aid Kit: Many of the antihistaminic used by us, can be uses also in dogs. They have the desired effect in a 25% to a 40% of the dogs with allergies. The dosage depends on the weight of the dog. For this you must consult to the veterinary.
